Birmingham death and funeral notices including ‘much loved’ great-grandfather and husband

Announcing the passing of a loved one in the local media is a long-standing tradition and we are proud of the trust placed in us to make these important announcements. Every notice published in our newspaper and news website also appears on funeral-notices.co.uk – the UK’s number one website for death notices and memorials.

Each notice remains online forever, providing friends and family with a lifetime tribute to their loved one, a safe online place to share memories, add tributes, photographs and make memorial donations. Each week, we pay tribute to loved ones remembered in our area with a funeral notice and an online tribute page.

Death and funeral notices

Terence (Terry) Larden

Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather Terry. Sadly, Terry passed away on Sunday 16th June 2024, Father’s Day. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy lives on with his children, eleven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He passed away peacefully at home with his loved ones, exactly where he wanted to be. The service will be held at Robin Hood Crematorium, Streetsbrook Road, Shirley, Solihull B90 3NL at 2.30pm on Friday 12th July 2024. We ask that no floral tributes be made, but if you wish, donations can be made to Cancer Research UK in Terry’s memory, either at the service or via the online obituary in the Birmingham Mail. Following the funeral service, there will be a celebration of his life at The Highbury Public House, Dads Lane, Birmingham, B13 8PQ from 3.30pm, where children are welcome.
