EGYM signs as HCM Summit Platinum Partner for three years

The HCM Summit, which will be held in London on October 24, has announced EGYM as its Platinum Partner for the next three years.

The company will also be the exclusive partner of the HCM Summit Live Stream and its on-demand broadcasts, which will make the main event broadcast worldwide and permanently available on the HCM magazine website.

EGYM is a fast-growing, technology-driven fitness equipment provider with an open platform that integrates with the vast majority of fitness equipment brands.

The company has a global presence, with more than 17,000 installations in gyms, corporate wellness centers and public leisure facilities.

In March, EGYM also acquired Hussle, a leading UK corporate fitness company. By joining forces with Hussle, the company has further expanded its position in the growing European market with its corporate fitness network, EGYM Wellpass.

CEO Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer said: “EGYM is committed to driving change and innovation to support the success of operators across the industry.

“It was immediately clear to us that we share this goal with HCM magazine and the HCM Summit. We are proud to partner with and support the event as we continue our commitment to delivering powerful, transformational innovation to the industry that drives success for businesses and operations and improves the lives of our members.”

Roesch-Schlanderer has hired former Technogym UK managing director Steve Barton and former Life Fitness CEO Chris Clawson and Precor CEO Rob Barker to drive growth and customer engagement as EGYM works to build its market share globally.

At the heart of EGYM’s solution is a range of digitally controlled strength training equipment, and unlike traditional weight machines, they offer both isotonic and isokinetic resistance, providing versatility, effectiveness and precision in every workout.

Major clients include operators such as David Lloyd, Fitness First and Holmes Place.

Roesch-Schlanderer said: “The current broad and growing adoption of EGYM underscores the effectiveness and convenience of our fully connected solution.”

The company is gearing up to launch its new product EGYM Genius in Q3 2024.

The EGYM Genius is a console designed for use during inductions and assessments to drive retention through increased engagement.

The console captures comprehensive data, including limb length measurements and flexibility and body composition details to enable the creation of personalized workouts.

It does this by integrating adaptive AI into its smart solutions to create personalized training plans for each member. EGYM Genius can also connect equipment in the gym, enabling effective workouts for members, increasing motivation and progress by transforming an analog experience into a new digital experience and collecting data from each member’s journey.

EGYM Genius will be on display at the HCM Summit and delegates will have the opportunity to take a personal test drive during the Summit networking breaks, by appointment.
