Summer Organ Festival: The Spreckels Organ Society’s summer series continues with free concerts on Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. through Sept. 2. Cons of Craft Beer: Learn from beer industry experts at a conference hosted by the San Diego Brewers Guild. Twilight in the Park: The free summer concert season at Spreckels Organ Pavilion continues with three midweek concerts at 6:30 p.m. through Aug. 29. ‘Velour: A Drag Spectacular’ premieres in previews on Tuesday: La Jolla Playhouse and Tectonic Theater Project present the world premiere of drag artist Sasha Velour and playwright Moisés Kaufman’s queer coming-of-age fantasy, inspired by Velour’s personal origin story, featuring video and projection mapping technology, lip-syncing and storytelling. “Henry VI”: The Old Globe presents the world premiere of Barry Edelstein’s two-play adaptation of William Shakespeare’s three history plays, “Henry VI,” which tell the story of England’s Wars of the Roses. “Part One: Flowers and France” and “Part Two: Rebellion and Reckoning” are playing in rotating repertory through September 15. Aztecs women’s soccer vs. Cal State Bakersfield: The Aztecs’ fall sports are back in action, with the women’s soccer team playing its first home game of the season. Stacked Stone Zen Garden opens: Alta Vista Botanical Gardens will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the new Stacked Stone Zen Garden. The garden will feature stones of various sizes, providing an opportunity for children and adults to create their own stacked stone formations. The activity symbolizes balance, tranquility, well-being and peace. The gardens’ leadership team will provide commentary and refreshments will be provided. Nat at night: On Friday nights through August 30, the San Diego Natural History Museum will be open late for extra time with special exhibits and activities.
