Classic at Tennessee High announces 18-team field

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) – It didn’t take long for the revamped The Classic at Tennessee High to reveal its contenders for the 2024 event.

On July 23, Bristol Tennessee City Schools announced its intentions to rename the former high school basketball event after failing to reach an agreement with former title sponsor AES Restaurant Group.

New Viking athletic director Blaine Brown revealed the upcoming tournament field in a statement Saturday.

Eighteen teams from ten different states will gather at Viking Hall from December 26-28 and 30-31.
