Belfast’s Nelson Street PBSA welcomes two celebrity guests

The GRAHAM team welcomed two celebrity guests from Dulux to the Nelson Street PBSA project.

GRAHAM was recently delighted to welcome two celebrity guests from Dulux to its student housing project on Nelson Street. This Belfast PBSA scheme is a fascinating project for the construction giant.

Everyone has worked hard to finish the project, so this was a welcome moment of relaxing fun before the final rush to deliver this stunning student accommodation in time for the autumn 2024 intake.

Apple and America are siblings and are part of the famous Dulux Dog lineage, which dates back to the 1960s.

Dulux regularly uses their services to promote their brand and GRAHAM was delighted to have them visit not only Nelson Street but also The Europa Hotel, where the team recently completed a refurbishment of the penthouse and executive suite.

On behalf of Greystar and Lacuna Developments, the £48 million project will provide 774 bedrooms and recreational facilities across 245,000 square feet.

As one of the largest PBSA complexes in Belfast, the Nelson Street development will also feature a shared sports and games hall, as well as a wellness suite, physiotherapy suite, social areas, a café and a gym.

GRAHAM has managed to navigate the choppy economic waters. The construction giant has surpassed the £1 billion turnover milestone for the second year running, with revenue rising by 2.8% to £1.1 billion.

“The latest published accounts for the Group are pleasing and highlight the strong performance of each of our divisions within our key market sectors. We have prioritised robust governance and commercial management, which are the backbone of our sustainable growth model. Significantly, the Group’s continued success has been achieved despite global economic uncertainty and inflationary pressures.

“The market has been challenging, but our consistent focus on quality delivery and commitment to securing repeat business through developing collaborative client relationships has enabled us to grow sustainably over the past year. Looking ahead, we have developed a significant pipeline of opportunities to enable us to approach the next 12 months and beyond with energy and optimism.”

Andrew Bill, Chief Executive of GRAHAM Group

GRAHAM has also begun construction on a new £59 million low-carbon mixed-use development in Edinburgh, which combines PBSA, Build to Rent (BTR) and affordable homes. The development is the first of its kind in the company’s 70,000-bed portfolio.
