Midlothian: 25-year-old man taken to hospital after single-vehicle crash

A man has been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Midlothian.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene of the crash on the B6372 at around 10.15am on Saturday, July 27, about a mile south-west of Temple, involving a black Ford Fiesta car.

The 25-year-old was taken to Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary for treatment.

He will be reported to the Public Prosecutor for a traffic violation.

The road was closed to allow for recovery.

PC Andy Ross, of Dalkeith Road Policing, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash and we are appealing for any witnesses to contact police.

“We are also asking that any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to come forward.

“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 1259 of Saturday 27 July 2024.”
