The powerbrokers at La Liga club Sevilla are increasingly confident of completing a deal for a player who recently joined Leicester City from the attack.

That’s what Relevo says, who points to Kelechi Iheanacho as the player in question.

It is of course common knowledge across Spain at this point that the Sevilla board are looking for reinforcements at the top.

This comes after the Nervionenses opted to cash in on star player Youssef En-Nesyri in a bid to ease their financial woes.

The search for En-Nesyri’s replacement, as a result, was firmly in motion this week.

And, as mentioned above, this weekend a new name has positioned itself at the center of conversations about the events in Nervión.

According to a report by Relief:

‘Sevilla have set the signing of a striker as a priority and the best placed at the moment is Kelechi Iheanacho, as reported by Sky Sport and confirmed by Relevo.’

The board of directors of the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, in fact, has already presented an offer to the striker and his entourage.

This is because Iheanacho is available for free after his contract with Leicester City expires.

The Nigerian also has an offer on the table from Bundesliga side Stuttgart, but he is believed to favour a move to La Liga.
