Rock legend Stevie Nicks reveals ‘crazy’ medical emergency and hospital stay

Rock legend Stevie Nicks recently broke her silence on the postponement of two UK shows earlier this month.

And what the singer revealed doesn’t sound like much fun.

“I don’t know what happened,” Nicks told the crowd at her Scotland concert earlier this week.

The Los Angeles Times Nicks called it a “crazy” medical emergency and described it as “a leg injury that required a minor surgical procedure.”

Nicks, 76, apparently tried to make it to the originally scheduled shows, but several days after arriving in Glasgow she couldn’t take it anymore.

“It was like 2 in the morning and I said, ‘I think we need to go to the emergency room,’” she told the crowd.

Nicks said she spent two days in the hospital.

“This whole tour, I was fighting what started here,” she said. “And I’d be damned if I didn’t come back here.”

This revelation comes just over a month after Nick’s show in Hershey was postponed at the last minute due to what was described as “band illness.”

The show has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 28.
