Leicester open talks to sign AC Milan star…

Leicester City have had a difficult start to the Premier League season.

After winning promotion to England’s top flight, they lost two key figures to Premier League giants Chelsea.

Manager Enzo Maresca has left the club to join the Blues as Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement, while midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has joined his manager at Stamford Bridge to begin a new challenge in his career.

The Foxes have signed Caleb Okoli and Bobby De Cordova-Reid in exciting moves ahead of the new season.

However, they can now sign a player from a Champions League club to add more quality to their squad.

Football Italia’s Gianluigi Longari reports that talks over the signing of Alexis Saelemaekers from AC Milan this summer have already begun at Leicester City.

The two clubs have yet to reach an agreement to transfer the Belgian player from Italy to England.

Leicester City need creativity in midfield

Following the departure of Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea, the newly promoted Premier League club are in need of a creative midfielder who can help their attackers score goals.

While it is highly unlikely that the Milan man will match Dewsbury-Hall’s performances from last season, he is still good enough to impress at the club and become part of Steve Cooper’s squad.

Leicester City are making moves in the market to avoid relegation and are expected to bring more players to the club to maintain their position as a Premier League side.
