Fatawu ‘feels amazing’ with permanent Leicester deal

Abdul Fatawu is happy with his deal with Leicester City.

The winger, after helping Leicester regain promotion to the Premier League last season, turned his loan spell into a permanent move from Sporting CP.

Fatawu told the club website: “I feel amazing.

“It’s so good to be back and I’m back to focus again on next season. I feel very motivated to be in the Premier League. It’s something new for me. I’m going to work really hard for it, with the team.

“I can’t wait to see (my teammates). I’ve missed them so much. They’re like family now. I didn’t think I would miss some of them, but when I left, I missed them so much! I can’t wait to see them.”

Fatawu signed a five-year contract and also said: “With the fans, it’s so good to be with them,” he explained. “They always give me more energy and that gives me motivation to do more. They are the best.

“It’s amazing to me. I always feel good when I hear the fans chanting my name. It keeps me going.”
