Six people injured after double-decker bus crashes into scaffolding in west London | UK News

Shocking footage has captured the aftermath of the bus crash in Maida Vale, west London. Scaffolding was left bent and boards were broken as six people were treated at the scene.

Six people have been injured after a double-decker bus crashed into scaffolding in west London.

The bus, which was carrying passengers, left the road after crashing into a commercial building covered in scaffolding in Maida Vale.

The accident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and left six people injured, including the bus driver.

None of the injuries were considered serious and all were treated at the scene by medics.

Images from the scene showed the bus going almost completely up the sidewalk and crashing into the building.

Scaffolding was bent and signs broken in front of the West Nine Food & Wine store.

The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene of the accident, which involved a number 18 bus.

Police said roads were closed and security cordons were put in place in the area and no arrests were made.
