Woman seriously injured after being hit by minibus – Brighton and Hove News

A woman was seriously injured in hospital after being hit by a minibus during rush hour this morning.

Police have closed part of Elm Grove near St. Joseph’s Church while they investigate the crash, which happened shortly before 9 a.m.

Drivers should avoid the area or follow the detour.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The minibus driver was not injured.

Sergeant Stacey Ellott said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision or any witnesses who saw what happened.”
