Police and ambulance crews rush to Glasgow shopping centre after incident

An emergency services response was seen at a Glasgow shopping centre earlier today (July 16).

Police and ambulance crews swarmed Drumchapel Shopping Centre on Kinfauns Drive at around 5pm, leaving many shoppers stunned.

Images taken from the scene show two police vehicles, an ambulance and a smaller paramedic car parked on the side of the road. A group of officers were also pictured in the back of the medical vehicle.

The nature of the incident is not yet known and it is unclear if anyone was injured.
