The London Question: What happened to tube etiquette?

The London Question: What happened to tube etiquette?

Don’t refuse to move to allow others to get off the train. Don’t get on before people have disembarked. Don’t, when you hear the doors beep beep Take this as your cue to run like Dina Asher-Smith into an already crowded train car and launch yourself into a pile of people. Don’t wear your backpack inside the train car. Don’t spread out across three seats or stand near the door so no one else can get on. Don’t even think about listening to music, a podcast, TV or TikToks without headphones. Don’t answer calls, FaceTimes, Zooms, Skypes, Teams, whatever, on board, even if there’s WiFi. Don’t ignore pregnant women, retirees, people with disabilities or anyone wearing a badge asking you to please, please give them a seat without them having to run you over with a wheelchair before you deign to look up.
