Gino D’Acampo gives Manchester restaurant customers a ‘special’ gift in celebration of his birthday

Diners across the UK will be able to enjoy dinner and drinks at Chef Gino D’Acampo’s restaurant this summer as he celebrates his birthday with a special treat for customers.

The Italian star, who turns 48 this week, is inviting guests to share in the celebrations by giving them £10 to spend at his restaurants. The offer will be available from now until the end of August.

To claim the special birthday incentive, customers will need to sign up to the chef’s restaurant app, Gino Rewards, to which the exclusive £10 gift will be loaded. Existing members will also be invited to take advantage of the special reward, which will be waiting for them in the rewards section of the app.

The offer can be redeemed on all food and drink at Gino’s restaurants in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and Leeds when you spend £30 or more. It can be redeemed by all guests in groups of up to eight, equating to an incredible saving of £80 on a table spend of £240.

Speaking about the gift to mark his 48th birthday, Gino said: “It’s no secret that I love parties, so this year I wanted to throw the biggest party yet and invite everyone to join in.

“I never cease to be overwhelmed by the love and support I receive here in the UK, so this is my opportunity to show mine and say grazie mille, you are the best.

“I hope you all join me and my amazing team at my restaurants to enjoy a cheeky drink or two and of course some beautiful, authentic Italian cuisine. See you there. Cheers!”

Last September, the chef and TV star unveiled his stunning new Manchester restaurant and bar inside the INNSiDE by Meliá Hotel on First Street. The 200-capacity drinking and dining venue reopened following an extensive £800,000 refurbishment of the existing restaurant space.

It follows the success of Gino’s restaurants in Newcastle and Liverpool. The Italian chef also owns and operates establishments in London and Leeds.

Visitors to Gino’s UK restaurants this summer will be able to choose from a selection of Italian dishes, all freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients, or toast the occasion with a cocktail or two.

Guests who want to join in the celebrations but want to dine later can take advantage of a special extra incentive in the gift card sales. They can purchase a card during the same period and Gino Rewards members will enjoy an extra 20% discount – meaning guests can enjoy an extra £20 at Gino when purchasing a £100 gift card.

A minimum purchase value of £25 applies. There is no restriction on when gift cards can be redeemed.

Registration is free for all guests who sign up between 15 July and 31 August, who are invited to enjoy a £10 gift at Gino’s and/or an extra 20% on gift card sales. Further details and terms and conditions can be found in the app section of the Gino Restaurants website or in the app.
