Police appeal after ‘dog owner fight’ near Stratford Park

Police are appealing for information after a fight allegedly broke out between two dog owners in Stratford. The incident happened between 10am and 10.30am in a small field near the Montague Court children’s play area on Thursday, June 27.

A man was walking his dog near the park when it was reported that he had an alleged altercation with a second man β€” a white man in his 50s β€” who was also walking his dog. One of the men reportedly suffered serious leg injuries and required hospital treatment.




Officers investigating the incident today appealed for witnesses. Anyone with information was urged to contact police by calling 101.

A Warwickshire Police spokesman said: “An attack is alleged to have taken place in a small field next to Montague Court children’s play area on Birmingham Road, Stratford. It was reported that a man walking his dog through the park had an altercation with a second man (a white male in his 50s) who was also walking his dog.

“If you saw this altercation happen, particularly if you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact us quoting incident 112 of 27 June.”
