Live: London bus crashes into Maida Vale shop on busy road

A London bus has crashed into a shop on a busy high street in west London this afternoon (Tuesday, July 16). According to photos posted on X, a number 18 bus crashed into the West 9 Food & Wine store on Harrow Road in Maida Vale.

The front of the double-decker bus was crumpled, and the driver’s side window was shattered. The front of the store has scaffolding in front, but it is unclear if the store itself was damaged.




Emergency services can be seen tending to the site where the bus crashed.

The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for further information regarding this incident.
