The 20-year-old winger has had a solid season for Mainz in the Bundesliga and is considered a hot prospect in Germany.

He has been heavily linked with a move away from Mainz, with Aston Villa and Liverpool firm admirers of his qualities and having been linked with a move.

German giants Bayern Munich are also believed to be interested in him and he would prefer a move to Bavaria.

It has now been claimed that Gruda is Brighton’s top target for the summer transfer window.
