Nottingham Forest working on transfer of Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic

Premier League side Nottingham Forest are interested in Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic and are working on a move for the Serbian.

Milenkovic was previously linked with a move to West Ham before signing a new deal with La Viola. Gianluca of Marzio reported Forest’s strong interest in the Serbian and their interest was confirmed.

Negotiations are ongoing and, although they are not closed or advanced, the defender is seen as an important target, even if the structure of the move is not really defined by both parties.

Fiorentina look set to complete a move for Nicolás Valentini and the likelihood is that he will be a replacement for Milenkovic. While the Serbian has been a regular for Fiorentina in recent seasons, there is a feeling that his development has not gone as promised and he is not stagnating, making Valentini a key signing.
