Belfast Whisky Week 2024 – LoveBelfast

Ireland’s biggest whisky festival is back

Join us from July 19-27, 2024. Tickets for Expo 2024 are on sale now!

Belfast Whisky Week, which runs from 19 to 27 July, is an initiative by enthusiasts at the Belfast Whisky Club to highlight the city’s rich whisky heritage. Festival Director Paul Kane is proud to announce the sixth edition of Ireland’s largest whisky festival. The event aims to engage whisky aficionados and newcomers alike, celebrating over 300 years of Belfast’s distilling history. A number of venues across the city, including the Duke of York, The Deer’s Head, Dark Horse, Maddens and The Morning Star, will host a range of events during the festival.

It is the second most important award for the Irish whiskey industry as a whole. The Irish Whiskey Industry Awards 2024 will be presented at this year’s Belfast Whiskey Week Dinner in the historic and grand Great Hall at Queen’s University. It is a great privilege to host these awards, dedicated solely to ensuring that individuals and companies in the industry are recognised and rewarded for their dedication, expertise, contribution and value. The IWIAs set the categories and accept nominations from the industry for each award, so we allow the public to vote, providing an opportunity for thousands of whiskey enthusiasts and supporters to get involved. With a bespoke meal, a bit of comedy to keep our guests entertained and plenty of whiskey fans at the dinner, it is an event not to be missed.
