Sketch comedy show JUKESOX to play Edinburgh Fringe

Sketch comedy show JUKESOX to play Edinburgh Fringe

Following popular previews in London earlier this summer, Threepenny Collective are excited to be hitting play on “Jukesox” at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

Jukesox offers audiences a comedy that satisfies cravings and a refreshing twist on the comedy genre as a dynamic sketch comedy show that blends traditional sketches with improvised humor. The show thrives on the chemistry of its cast to deliver a complicated performance each night, where characters and jokes evolve throughout the show, and the audience is taken on a hilarious journey through the quirks of life, from everyday absurdities to current events.

Unlike conventional sketch shows, the show’s narratives are interwoven, with recurring jokes and characters like Berry, the cost-cutting council worker, and Dolfo, the insecure domestic assistant, coming to life, increasing cohesion and promising an entertaining exploration of life’s absurd complexities.

Tickets are available from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe website edfringe.com/whats-on/jukesox, in person at the EdFringe Box Office and Shop or by calling +44 (0)131 226 0000.

Making its debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Threepenny Collective is a new London-based theatre and film production company. Founded by Ilya Wray, Michal Vojtech and Ariel de la Garza Davidoff, the company is bringing three shows to the Fringe this year at C Venues Aquila: Corpse Flower, a Kafkaesque horror comedy; and Georgie Wedge’s Per-Verse, which explores dating in the modern world.
