TRNSMT day two LIVE as Glasgow fans prepare to enjoy Gerry Cinnamon as headliner

After a hugely successful first day, which saw thousands of music fans flock to Glasgow Green for the first day of TRNSMT, we now have day two of Scotland’s biggest music festival to enjoy.

We’ll bring you LIVE coverage, showing you what to expect, which artists are expected to perform, news updates and of course all the key events you need to know about, what the weather is expected to be like and whether there are any train delays or road closures.

The event will take place in the city’s east end on Glasgow Green and a number of artists will take to the stage today, including Gerry Cinnamon, Rick Astley and Glasgow’s own Dylan John Thomas.

If you’re going, it’s important to bring an ID with you. This is because people under the age of 16 are not allowed at this year’s festival.

Stewards will be operating a Challenge 25 policy at entry, so if you appear under 25, they will ask to see valid ID. YoungScot cards will be accepted, but the PASS hologram must not be faded or it will not be accepted. Photos or photocopies of ID will also not be accepted.

We spent £20 to see how far our money would go

If you go today or tomorrow, remember that the festival doesn’t accept cash (despite our confusing photo posing with notes for illustrative purposes).

We had fun looking for the best dressed people we saw in the crowd.

The festival brings people from all over the country together to enjoy great music and each other’s company — and some certainly knew how to show up in style.

The crowds were ready for a fun-filled day and went all out to dress up for a festival where the best dressed always come out on top. We’ve put together a gallery of some of our favourites.

List of prohibited items and what you can bring into the festival venue

To maintain safety, organizers have asked those planning to attend to check in advance what is allowed at the festival.

Should anyone make the mistake of ignoring the list of prohibited items, entry may be refused.

We’ve put together a comprehensive list of restrictions, including bans on single-use e-cigarettes, flares, gas or smoke devices, fireworks, food and drink, and national football shirts or shirts with club logos.
