Edinburgh Mercedes driver gets ‘stuck on bollard’ at busy tourist spot

A driver in Edinburgh city centre has become trapped in a bollard.

In an image shared with Edinburgh live, A silver Mercedes appears to have become stuck while trying to enter a pedestrian zone on the Royal Mile.




Several tourists and spectators could be seen trying to help rescue the car.

The incident is believed to have occurred at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, July 10, at St Giles’ Cathedral on the Royal Mile.

Edinburgh City Council officials are also reportedly trying to free the vehicle.
